About Vanessa Cohen, DO

Vanessa Cohen, DO, is a board-certified family medicine doctor who provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. She has special interests in integrative medicine, medical education, osteopathic manipulative medicine and women's health.

As an assistant professor of family medicine and public health, she is involved in training medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, she was a family practice physician at Berkshire Osteopathic Health in Pittsfield, Mass. and The Institute for Family Health in New York City.

Dr. Cohen completed a residency in urban family medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York and earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, Calif.
