Elizabeth Joseph, MS, NP-C

Elizabeth Joseph, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner in internal medicine. She treats adult patients and provides both preventive care and management of acute and chronic diseases.

Ms. Joseph is passionate about preventive care and educating her patients on lifestyle modifications for disease prevention and total wellbeing. She believes in partnering with her patients in a team approach to achieve their health goals.

Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Joseph was a family nurse practitioner at Scripps Coastal Medical Center for eight years and provided treatment in primary care. Her experience also includes working as registered nurse for four years at Sharp HealthCare's progressive care unit.

Ms. Joseph earned her Master of Science and bachelor's degree in nursing at Azusa Pacific University and a bachelor's degree in bioengineering at UC San Diego. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of work, Ms. Joseph enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, singing, hiking, cooking and volunteering in medical missions.
