Justin S. Choudhari, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides care for acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease, cirrhosis, arthritis, chronic pain, depression and anxiety. He also provides preventive care, health maintenance, and cancer screenings and practices HIV medicine, geriatric care, men's health and mental health in a primary care setting.
Dr. Choudhari believes medicine is a healing art and that the healing process begins with mutual respect and trust between patient and physician. He finds the satisfaction of his patients and building long-term relationships with them among the most rewarding aspects of his career. Dr. Choudhari emphasizes patient education and shared decision making while incorporating personal and cultural preferences to build an optimal treatment plan.
He completed an internal medicine residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco and earned his medical degree from University of Debrecen in Hungary. Dr. Choudhari is a member of the American College of Physicians.
In his free time, Dr. Choudhari enjoys traveling and exploring different foods and cultures, swimming, surfing and soccer. He speaks conversational Spanish and Tagalog.
