About Evan Dupart, MD
Evan Dupart, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, Dr. Dupart is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay. He currently attends as a nocturnist, admitting patients who present to the hospital overnight. In addition, he works with UC San Diego residents overnight to hone their clinical medical skills. He does not see patients at outpatient clinics and is not available for appointments.
Prior to joining UC San Diego, Dr. Dupart was an instructor in medicine in the department of internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. He also served as a clinical hospitalist attending at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Dr. Dupart completed his residency in internal medicine at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital and earned his medical degree at University of Colorado School of Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Dupart enjoys skiing, camping, hiking, music production and espresso.
