About Mikhal Schiffer, MD, FAAP

Mikhal Schiffer, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Schiffer provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She enjoys watching children grow and develop into their own person, and seeing their personalities emerge. Dr. Schiffer loves helping parents and caregivers feel supported in the journey of raising their children into healthy adults and helping them reach their full potential.

Dr. Schiffer completed her residency at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and earned her medical degree at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Schiffer is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish.

Outside of work, Dr. Schiffer enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They like traveling, eating out and hiking together.
