About Meghan Berry, MS, PA-C
Meghan Berry, MS, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who specializes in treating acute and chronic conditions of the shoulders, hips and knees.
Her approach to care is to help patients better understand their diagnosis and help them design a patient-centered treatment plan to reach their goals.
Ms. Berry collaborates with supervising orthopedic surgeons to develop conservative clinical care management as well as provide surgical counseling for patients. Her areas of expertise include conducting physical assessment and performing standardized tests to thoroughly evaluate orthopedic conditions. She has special expertise in intra-articular and intra-bursal injections and the conservative management of knee osteoarthritis with cortisone injections and hyaluronic acid (HA) injections.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Berry worked in total adult joint reconstruction (joint replacement).
She earned a Master of Science degree from South University, Tampa, Fla. and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego.
A collegiate athlete, Ms. Berry was two-year co-captain of UC San Diego's women's intercollegiate soccer team. Outside of work, she continues to enjoy playing soccer, beach volleyball, pickleball and surfing.
