Armando Wu, MD  

Armando Wu, MD, is a board-certified physician providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.  

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.  

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Wu provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for patients of all ages. He is an established provider who has practiced medicine in a wide range of regions including New York, Ohio, Indiana and the Dominican Republic. Through his practice, he hopes to bring thorough and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds. Dr. Wu focuses greatly on building a relationship with his patients that allows them to trust in his treatment and medical guidance. His goal is to have patients leave his office feeling empowered and knowledgeable in his medical process.

Dr. Wu completed his residency in family medicine at BronxCare Health System in Bronx, N.Y. and earned his medical degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is board certified in family medicine and fluent in Spanish and French.

Outside of his passion for medicine, Dr. Wu enjoys studying and practicing languages, serving on medical missions and the great sport of baseball.
