About Nathan Yung, MD

Nathan Yung, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, Dr. Yung is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay. He does not see patients at outpatient clinics and is not available for appointments. Upon a patient's hospital discharge, Dr. Yung communicates with their regular physician to ensure quality care.

He has a special interest in clinical informatics and the use of communication systems to improve patient care, enhance access to care, advance individual and population health outcomes, and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship.

Dr. Yung completed a residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He also holds a master's degree in global medicine from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
