About Blanca Navarro, MSN, RN, FNP-C

Blanca Navarro, NP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing primary and preventive care to adults and pediatric patients.

Before joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Navarro cared for patients at Naval Branch Health Clinic Eastlake in Chula Vista, Opsam Health Clinic in National City, Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa and the CVS Minute Clinic in San Diego. She also has experience in providing primary care for children at St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines.

She completed a master's degree in nursing – family nurse practitioner track at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and holds a doctor of medicine degree from the Philippines. She also has certifications in child health and prevention and diabetes management. Ms. Navarro is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Navarro also speaks Tagalog and some Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and do-it-yourself projects.
