Jodi Nagelberg, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist who provides care for patients with a variety of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, thyroid cancer, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), weight management and transgender medicine.
She enjoys forming long-standing clinical relationships with her patients and working with them to establish control of their diabetes.
As an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UC San Diego, Dr. Nagelberg is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows in the field of endocrinology. Prior to joining UC San Diego, she was the endocrinology director at TelMed2U where she managed a broad spectrum of endocrine diseases and assisted in developing and overseeing the endocrine department.
Dr. Nagelberg completed her endocrinology fellowship at UC San Diego and her internal medicine residency at UC Irvine. She earned her medical degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and her master's degree in health administration and policy from University of Southern California Price School of Public Policy. Dr. Nagelberg is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society.
In her free time, Dr. Nagelberg enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors hiking and bicycling, and especially traveling domestically and abroad. She is proficient in medical Spanish.
