About Eleanor Flores, MSN, RN, FNP-BC

Eleanor Flores, MS, is a certified nurse practitioner who cares for bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients at UC San Diego Health. For her exceptional service she was named the UC San Diego Health nurse practitioner of the year for 2022-2023.

She co-developed the BMT Survivorship Clinic in 2012 and currently serves as associate director. She is also co-director of the Advanced Practice Provider Blood and Marrow Program Education Series.

Ms. Flores completed her master's degree in nursing from University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing from Georgetown University.

In addition to her certification as a family nurse practitioner, she is a certified oncology nurse and advanced oncology nurse practitioner.

She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
