About Todd Harker, MD
Todd Harker, MD is a board-certified pediatrician who provides primary care for children from birth to age 18 years.
As an associate professor of pediatrics, Dr. Harker instructs medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has been honored with a total of 20 teaching awards from six separate medical training programs.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Harker worked as a general pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente. Prior to that, he served as an active duty Navy pediatrician at Camp Pendleton and in Okinawa.
Dr. Harker earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his pediatric residency training at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
In his free time, he travels the world doing pilgrimages with his wife of over 35 years.
