About Jessica Bailis, PsyD
Jessica Bailis, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who is a part of UC San Diego Health's College Mental Health Program, which provides specialty mental health services to UC San Diego students.
Dr. Bailis has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing treatment to adolescents and adults for a range of issues including depression, anxiety, self-injurious behavior, suicidality, trauma and psychosis. Dr. Bailis takes an individualized, collaborative approach to treatment that is informed by several therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic theory and positive psychology.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2022, Dr. Bailis was a clinical psychologist at RJ Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego.
Dr. Bailis earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family.
