Salil Saxena, MD

Salil Saxena, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, Dr. Saxena is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay. He does not see patients at outpatient clinics and is not available for appointments. Upon a patient's hospital discharge, Dr. Saxena communicates with their regular physician to ensure quality care.

Dr. Saxena completed his residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and his medical degree from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Outside of work, he enjoys astronomy, astrobiology, religious studies, meditating, basketball and music.
