Cody Jackson, MD, MOH, MBA

Cody Jackson, MD, is a board-certified physician providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a primary care physician, Dr. Jackson provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for people of all ages. Prior to joining Perlman Clinic, he was medical director for a San Diego-based occupational health clinic and a physician editor for a national workers' compensation guidelines company. Dr. Jackson served in the United States Navy as a flight surgeon, which included two deployments that allowed him to work with both Navy and Marine Corps service members around the world.

Dr. Jackson completed his residency in occupational medicine at the University of Utah, where he also obtained two master's degrees in occupational health and business administration. He earned his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. Dr. Jackson is board certified in occupational medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his family (including his dog, Sierra) and friends, traveling, playing tennis and hiking.
