Michael Jacobson, MD, FAAP

Michael Jacobson, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. He is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Jacobson provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. He loves his job and truly enjoys working with babies, children, teens and their parents. Dr. Jacobson always encourages patients and families to ask questions. He strives to provide advice that is easy to understand and practical, and often uses anecdotes about the antics of his own three children to help.

Dr. Jacobson completed his residency at Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital and earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. He is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
