About Andres G. Mendez, PhD
Andres Mendez, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who helps adults and adolescents/young adults with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Dr. Mendez uses primarily cognitive behavioral approaches to treatment in addition to other therapeutic interventions.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, he treated patients at Family Health Centers of San Diego and Pacific Clinics – Pasadena Family Services.
Dr. Mendez earned his doctorate degree and master's degree in psychology from Loma Linda University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and California Psychological Association.
He is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
