About Amber Hamilton, MD
Amber Hamilton, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group. She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Hamilton provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She decided in second grade she wanted to be a pediatrician because she knew she wanted to work with kids. She also loves working with families and watching kids grow to reach their full potential.
Dr. Hamilton completed her residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she also earned her medical degree. She is board certified in pediatrics and is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Dr. Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family, going to see musicals, singing and dancing. She has danced since she was three years old and feels fortunate to have continued dancing throughout her career. She believes having a form of exercise that is enjoyable makes it much easier to have the willpower to keep going.
