About Sahil Vagha, DO
Sahil Vagha, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who provides primary care for adults, including diagnoses of acute and chronic conditions, with an emphasis on preventive care. His current research interests are in obesity medicine.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, he was a hospitalist physician at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif.
Dr. Vagha completed his residency in internal medicine at Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, Calif. and earned his medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, Va.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Outside of caring for patients, he enjoys a game of chess, weightlifting, and collecting vinyl records. Most of his free time is spent outside enjoying the weather while discovering hiking trails throughout San Diego.
