About Carolyn Suttle, MA, LMFT
Carolyn Suttle, MA, is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who provides therapy for women, infants and their families during the prenatal and postpartum period. She specializes in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, working with individuals and families as they transition into parenthood and develop a strong, healthy bond with their new baby. She also provides therapy for reproductive trauma, infertility, grief and loss.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Suttle worked in the technology industry. She uses a family systems holistic approach and relies on evidence-based practices in her work, crafting a therapeutic approach tailored carefully for each patient.
Ms. Suttle earned her master's degree in marital and family therapy from University of San Diego and her bachelor's degree in mathematics at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She completed the Maternal Mental Health Certificate course offered by Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom.
