About Hilary Bowers, MD, FAAP
Hilary Bowers, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing care through the Children's Primary Care Medical Group (CPCMG). She is a member of UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Bowers provides primary care for infants, children and young adults. She has a special interest in guiding parents through the developmental challenges of childhood and adolescence, as well as counseling new mothers on breastfeeding issues. Dr. Bowers joined CPCMG in 2007 and enjoys the cooperative nature and close connection with Rady Children's Hospital, allowing her the opportunity to provide excellent cohesive care to her patients.
Dr. Bowers completed her residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and earned her medical degree at University of Washington School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Before moving to San Diego, Dr. Bowers practiced in Los Angeles for several years. She says the greater San Diego area has been a wonderful place to raise her growing family.
