About Dana Ben-Artzi, MD, FAAP

Dana Ben-Artzi, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing primary care through Coast Pediatrics in Carmel Valley. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Ben-Artzi provides primary care for infants, children and young adults, including preventive care, chronic disease management, addressing acute injuries and routine physicals. She enjoys developing close relationships with her patients and providing parenting support from birth through the teen years. Dr. Ben-Artzi has a special interest in preventive care and helping her patients develop healthy habits.

Dr. Ben-Artzi completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and earned her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israelis. She board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Ben-Artzi is fluent in Hebrew.

Outside of work, Dr. Ben-Artzi enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She also likes outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, rock climbing and camping.
