About Edmund Concepcion, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C
Edmund Concepcion, MSPAS, MPH, is a certified physician assistant who specializes in caring for urology patients.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Mr. Concepcion provided care at Scripps HealthExpress, My Chula Vista Doctors and at GameDay Men's Health as clinic director. He also served in the United States Navy as a lieutenant commander on active duty for nine years and as a reservist for five years.
He completed a master's degree in physician assistant studies at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. as well as a master's degree in public health from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Mr. Concepcion earned his bachelor's degree in biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Concepcion is a member of the Naval Association of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, athletics, attending sporting events and aviation.
