About Josefina Torres, MD

Josefina Torres, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases for people of all ages. She enjoys making personal connections with her patients, practicing medicine and advocating for patients to live a better, healthier lifestyle to prevent medical illness. Dr. Torres finds it extremely rewarding to help patients meet their health care goals.

Her special interests include preventive medicine, cardiac health, diabetes management, skin conditions and minor procedures such as biopsies, excisions and cryotherapy. She has experience with clinical research projects focused on improving specialty care delivery in patients with chronic inflammatory skin diseases.

Dr. Torres completed her residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta, Calif. and earned her medical degree from Universidad Católica in Córdoba, Argentina where she grew up. She also completed a research fellowship at University of Southern California.

In her free time, you'll usually find her outdoors. She loves live music, going to the beach and parks, traveling around the world and spending quality time with her family and friends. She speaks Spanish fluently.
