About Timothy Judd, DO
Timothy Judd, DO, is a board-certified family medicine doctor who provides primary care for patients of all ages. This includes preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic conditions with state-of-the-art practices. He has expertise in chronic musculoskeletal pain and injury, including lower back pain, neck pain, headaches and sports injuries.
As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Judd provides osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) for patients who require more specialized, manual medicine treatment. His fundamental approach is to listen to patients and understand their problems so that he can best meet their needs.
Before joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Judd cared for patients at Centura Health Physicians Group at Landmark in Greenwood Village, Colo., where he was recognized as an Outstanding Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment physician. In addition, he has more than 25 years of experience as a family medicine doctor in Colorado.
He also served as president of the Denver Osteopathic Foundation for the past 14 years, which promotes health, wellness and osteopathic education. As part of this, he worked for several years with athletes in the Special Olympics, which provides training and sports competition for people with intellectual disabilities. He says giving back to the community is immensely rewarding and enriching.
Dr. Judd completed a family medicine residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver and earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in family medicine.
