About Victor Mori, DO

Victor Mori, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician providing comprehensive and passionate care to a wide spectrum of patients. His primary focus is on preventive medicine and the promotion of healthy lifestyles to stop the development and progression of disease. He is skilled in the diagnosis and management of conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, anxiety and depression, asthma, COPD, thyroid disease, heart disease and musculoskeletal problems. He is also performs procedures including pap smears, birth control placement/removal and joint injections.

Dr. Mori aims to create long-lasting and trusting relationships with his patients by utilizing shared decision-making, allowing patients to take ownership of their health. He focuses on incorporating the values of each individual into their care to target their particular goals.

Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Mori provided both outpatient clinical care and inpatient hospital care in Fresno. He served as chief resident, advocating for the wellness of his colleagues and working alongside administration to promote public health.

Dr. Mori completed his residency in family medicine at UCSF Fresno in Fresno, Calif. He earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He is board certified in family medicine, and is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Mori enjoys cooking, exercising, and playing board games and video games with his family.
