About Daniel R. Crouch, MD
Daniel Crouch, MD is a board-certified pulmonologist. He is clinically active in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He provides care to patients with a variety of lung diseases, and has a special interest in the treatment of patients with asthma. He is committed to providing high-quality comprehensive care to his patients and is actively involved in clinical trials.
He is also interested in critical care and resuscitation medicine. He spends time in the intensive care units at UC San Diego Health - La Jolla, Hillcrest and Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, California.
As an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Crouch is actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He was recently awarded the Top Fellow Award by the internal medicine residency program and also received a Resident Teaching Award by the medical students.
He is part of the UC San Diego Center for Resuscitation Science, where he is involved in the award-winning resuscitation training program and quality improvement projects.
Dr. Crouch completed his residency training in internal medicine at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Crouch did his fellowship training at UC San Diego School of Medicine in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa.
