Christopher "Kit" Tainter, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who specializes in critical care medicine. As a specialist in anesthesiology critical care medicine, Dr. Tainter treats individuals with critical illnesses or injuries, particularly trauma victims and people with multiple organ dysfunction. His professional interests include resuscitation and point-of-care ultrasound.
He completed residency training in emergency medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and a fellowship in anesthesia critical care at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Tainter is board certified in emergency medicine and anesthesiology critical care medicine. He is also a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS).
