About Cathy Logan, MD
Cathy Logan, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease specialist. Her expertise is in treating and preventing infections in immunocompromised individuals, including those with malignant disorders, stem-cell transplant recipients, and solid-organ transplant recipients.
Her clinical work includes caring for individuals on the solid organ transplantation services and the oncology services. As an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Logan is active in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Logan completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama Hospital and fellowship in infectious diseases at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Logan is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
