About Jason Woo, MD
Jason Woo, MD, is a board-certified urologist who provides medical and surgical treatment for a wide range of male and female urologic problems, including stones in the urinary tract, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction and urologic cancers. Dr. Woo has expertise in providing gender-affirming care to transgender and nonbinary patients.
Dr. Woo believes in a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to urologic care. He has particular clinical expertise in the latest treatments for BPH and kidney stones.
As an associate professor in the Department of Urology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Woo instructs medical students and resident physicians. He enjoys volunteering and is the urologist for the UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic.
Dr. Woo completed residency training in urology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and is a former Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Woo is a member of the American Urological Association and is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is the clinical medical director for urology at UC San Diego Health in Hillcrest and also sees patients in Chula Vista.
