About Jeremy E. Orr, MD

Jeremy E. Orr, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician who specializes in hypoventilation disorders, neuromuscular respiratory weakness, chronic lung disease, non-invasive ventilation management and critical care medicine.

Dr. Orr's research is focused on sleep apnea, particularly in patients with chronic lung and heart disease. He has published articles in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, American Journal of Cardiology, Sleep, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine and Annals of the American Thoracic Society.

Dr. Orr completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, and a residency in internal medicine at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Orr is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, and has participated in the California Thoracic Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and American College of Chest Physicians.
