About Diana De Rosa, MS, CGC
Diana De Rosa, MS, is a board-certified genetic counselor who provides risk assessment and genetic counseling for patients and their families. She helps people investigate their family health history, navigate the genetic testing process, and understand and adapt to the medical or psychological implications of genetic diseases.
As part of UC San Diego Health's Family Cancer Genetics Program, Ms. De Rosa helps ensure that patients and families with an increased risk of cancer receive outstanding care, with a focus on cancer prevention and early detection. She also serves as the Athena Breast Health Specialist, collaborating with all five University of California medical centers with the goal of identifying women at elevated risk for breast cancer, providing personalized risk assessment, and facilitating access to appropriate resources.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. De Rosa was a genetic counselor at the Cancer Risk and Prevention Program at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills, California.
She earned a Master of Science from University of California, Irvine.
