About Katia M. Harlé, PhD
Katia Harlé, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who treats adults with substance use disorders, depression and anxiety. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and neuropsychological assessments to evaluate a broad range of cognitive and behavioral issues resulting from brain dysfunction.
Her research examines topics related to learning, decision making and reward processing among individuals with mental health challenges. Her work includes identifying neuropsychological predictors of addictive behavior, using brain imaging and computational modeling.
Dr. Harlé completed clinical internships in psychology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her doctorate in psychology at The University of Arizona Graduate School.
Dr. Harlé has won two National Research Service Awards from National Institutes of Health. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Science and the Society for Neuroscience.
