About Jennifer M. Dan, MD, PhD
Jennifer M. Dan, MD, PhD, is a board-certified internist and infectious disease specialist who cares for hospitalized patients.
Her research focuses on germinal center responses, important in generating high affinity antibodies. She is also working to develop methods for detecting antigen-specific responses in immunocompromised populations.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2016, she was chief fellow in infectious disease at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Dan completed a fellowship in infectious disease and a residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her medical and doctoral degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease.
