About Susan Heifetz, MD
Susan Heifetz, MD, is a board-certified internist providing primary care through North County Internal Medicine. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As an internal medicine practitioner, Dr. Heifetz provides primary care to adults - including preventive care, and diagnosing and treating chronic and acute conditions.
Before joining North County Internal Medicine in 2014, Dr. Heifetz worked at Sharp HealthCare, VA San Diego Healthcare System, and UC San Diego Health.
Dr. Heifetz earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. She completed her residency at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Heifetz lives with her husband and family in Scripps Ranch, and enjoys photography, swimming, and walking on the beach.
