About Nora Bammidi, MBBS, FAPA
Nora Bammidi, MBBS, FAPA, is a board-certified psychiatrist who treats general mental health issues in adults, including depression, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, insomnia and bipolar disorders. She provides medication management and psychotherapy to help treat these mental health conditions.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2017, Dr. Bammidi was an adult psychiatrist at the Sioux Trails Mental Health Center in Minnesota.
Dr. Bammidi completed fellowship training in psychiatry at the National Institutes of Mental Health in Bethesda, Md. She completed residency training in psychiatry at the John A. Burnes School of Medicine, University of Hawaii. She earned her medical degree (MBBS) from Andhra Medical College in India. She is board certified in psychiatry and is a fellow of American Psychiatric Association (FAPA).
Outside of work, Dr. Bammidi enjoys cooking, gardening, interior designing and spending outdoor time with her family. She also enjoys watching movies as a way to relax. Dr. Bammidi speaks fluent Telugu and some Hindi.
