About Yuliana Noniyeva, PhD
Yuliana Noniyeva, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who treats a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
She is part of the College Mental Health Program, which addresses the unique mental health and psychiatric issues of college students in our San Diego community.
Her practice focuses on delivering research-supported treatments to address issues related to mood, sleep and chronic medical conditions as well as innovative solutions for integrating mental health services in primary care settings.
She also provides assessments and screenings for mental health and behavioral disorders.
Dr. Noniyeva is interested in understanding the cultural factors that promote resilience to trauma and other life events, and in improving people's access to mental health care. She has also worked on the early identification and treatment of mental health disorders among individuals from high-risk groups.
Dr. Noniyeva completed a postdoctoral fellowship in psychology at Children's Hospital Colorado. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University's Pacific Graduate School of Psychology.
