About Christina V. Harris, MPA, PA-C
Christina V. Harris, MPA, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who works in orthopedic oncology (bone cancer) and joint reconstructions. In this capacity, she assists with preoperative and postoperative care of orthopedic patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She also educates patients on orthopedic oncology management as well as hip and knee reconstructions.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Ms. Harris was a physician assistant at Commonwealth Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation (now OrthoVirginia) in Reston, Va.
Ms. Harris earned a master's degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and her bachelor of science in kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the San Diego Society of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Outside of work, Ms. Harris enjoys spending time with family and travel.
