Lori Taylor, MD

Lori Taylor, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing primary care through Coast Pediatrics in Del Mar. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.

UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.

Dr. Taylor provides general pediatric care. She enjoys working with parents to support a healthy and active lifestyle for babies, children and teens.

She has been repeatedly elected as a top doctor in San Diego Magazine's " Physicians of Exceptional Excellence" annual survey performed in collaboration with the San Diego County Medical Society.

Before joining Coast Pediatrics, Dr. Taylor was in private practice in other North County-based practices. Prior to that, Dr. Taylor was active in clinical research - specifically in multicultural medicine and early childhood education - while serving as clinical faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego.

Dr. Taylor earned her medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine where she also completed internship and residency training. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
