About Heather Diamond, RD, CNSC
Heather Diamond, CNSC, is a registered dietitian who provides individualized nutrition intervention and education for people with cancer. As part of the multidisciplinary team at UC San Diego Health's Moores Cancer Center, she works closely with patients to implement strategies to manage their nutrition before, during and after treatment.
Ms. Diamond is a certified nutrition support clinician (CNSC) with expertise in initiating and monitoring nutrition support through a feeding tube (enteral nutrition) or through an intravenous tube (parenteral nutrition).
Ms. Diamond also has experience implementing medical nutrition therapy for people with cystic fibrosis, gastrointestinal cancer, and those undergoing cancer surgery.
After earning a certificate in dietetics at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Ms. Diamond completed a dietetic internship at UC San Diego Health. She earned her bachelor's degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Outside of work, Ms. Diamond enjoys weightlifting and CrossFit training.
