About Matthew Nobari, MD
Matthew Nobari, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and intensivist. He provides care to patients with a variety of diseases including, but not limited to, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, sepsis, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). He is committed to providing comprehensive care to all of his patients.
Dr. Nobari is actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests are in quality improvement process management, COPD, as well as lung cancer screening and diagnostics.
Dr. Nobari completed fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also earned his medical degree. He completed residency training in internal medicine at St. Vincent Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine and pulmonary medicine.
He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.
