About Nicholas Wettersten, MD
Nicholas Wettersten, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist who treats patients with advanced heart failure.
As an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Wettersten trains medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Wettersten completed fellowships in heart failure and cardiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He did a residency in internal medicine at UC Davis and earned his medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and Heart Failure Society of America.
