About Elizabeth Salada, MD
Elizabeth Salada, MD, MPH, is a board-certified physician providing primary care through her private practice in Poway. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.
UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Salada provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for adults. Her interests include integrative medicine, preventive medicine, women's health, nutrition, fitness, aesthetic skin care and community education.
She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, following earning a master's of public health nutrition from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. She completed her residency training at Pennsylvania State University, and she is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Salada serves as a volunteer medical correspondent for San Diego 6 Local News.
