About Lindsey Unger, MS, CCC-SLP
Lindsey Unger is a speech language pathologist who helps individuals maximize their speech ability, language comprehension and expression, social and cognitive-communication skills. She also assesses and treats voice and swallowing disorders, and provides assessments for augmentative alternative communication devices.
Mrs. Unger holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds certifications in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD), LSVT eLOUD and SPEAK OUT!®, which addresses the motor speech deficits associated with Parkinsonism.
Mrs. Unger earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology at California State University Northridge. She completed a clinical fellowship at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center in 2011, and continued working for the VA until 2018 when she and her family moved to San Diego County.
In her free time, she loves cooking, baking, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family.
