About Sarah Lederhandler Kluck, MD
Sarah Kluck, MD, is an OB/GYN who provides comprehensive women's health care, including maternity, well woman and general gynecology care. She has special interest and expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and treating conditions such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, polyps and abnormal pap smears.
Dr. Kluck also provides contraceptive counseling and family planning services. "I cherish the opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with my patients and help guide them through the challenges of pregnancy, motherhood and other gynecologic issues," Dr. Kluck said, adding, "I believe strongly in the importance of listening to my patients' needs and concerns, thereby creating a treatment plan that both addresses her issues and makes sense with her goals."
As an assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Kluck trains medical students and residents.
Dr. Kluck completed her OB/GYN residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she served as administrative chief. She earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate education at Yale University, where she received a B.S. in biomedical engineering. She received the 2019 Resident Award by The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American Medical Association.
In her free time, Dr. Kluck enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and taking her dog to dog beaches in San Diego. In addition to English, she is proficient in Spanish.
