About Jessie Agrimis, DPT, NCS, ATP
Jessie Agrimis is a licensed doctor of physical therapy (DPT) who treats individuals with various neurologic disorders including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, vertigo, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, central nervous system neoplasms, facial palsy and neuromuscular disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Dr. Agrimis teaches individuals how to manage, prevent, and/or improve their condition to maximize movement and function, reach their goals, and improve quality of life across the lifespan.
Dr. Agrimis holds a certification as an assistive technology professional (ATP) to help with the prescription of complex wheelchairs to help individuals gain mobility and improve posture and independence. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy, holds a certificate in vestibular rehabilitation, and is a PWR!Moves certified therapist.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Agrimis completed the neurologic physical therapy residency program at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She earned her doctoral degree in physical therapy from San Diego State University and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Occidental College.
