About Ellen Fink, MS, PA-C
Ellen Fink, MS, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who cares for patients who have cancer or are undergoing colorectal surgery. She helps treat a wide range of conditions, including colorectal cancers; diverticulitis; pelvic floor diseases; inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis; and complex benign and malignant conditions of the bile duct, liver, pancreas and stomach.
Regardless of the condition, Ms. Fink considers it a great honor taking care of patients and enjoys being part of a team which is capable of providing expert-level care.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2015, Ms. Fink worked as physician assistant with the gynecologic oncology and colorectal surgery departments of a health care system in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Ms. Fink earned a master's degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. She obtained a bachelor's degree in human biology from Michigan State University.
She is a member of Advanced Practice Oncology Providers, the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the San Diego Society of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Ms. Fink enjoys traveling, the outdoors, horses, and spending time with her family, including her husband, who is a physician assistant in family medicine, and her dog, Lily.
