About Christopher Ceriale, MSPAS, MPH, PA-C
Christopher Ceriale is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who specializes in caring for patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including benign prostate enlargement, lower urinary tract symptoms, kidney stones, benign scrotal conditions, urinary tract infections and interstitial cystitis. He has expertise in treating male sexual health conditions, including erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism and Peyronie's disease. Mr. Ceriale also has expertise in providing gender-affirming care to transgender and nonbinary patients.
Before joining UC San Diego Health, Mr. Ceriale worked as a physician assistant for several health providers, including Perlman Clinic and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest. He has also trained emergency medical technicians at San Diego Community College District.
Mr. Ceriale completed the joint masters program at Touro University of California in Vallejo, earning him both a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from San Diego State University. Mr. Ceriale is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
He is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the California Association of Physician Assistants and the American Urology Association.
In his free time, Mr. Ceriale enjoys mentoring pre-PA students, doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT), trying new neighborhood restaurants and going to Disneyland.
