About Bryan Bartz, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, ATC

Bryan Bartz, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist and board-certified athletic trainer (ATC) who specializes in sports medicine treating patients from the acute onset of injury to return to sport and preventative rehabilitation with a focus on neuromuscular training.

He works with individuals to treat and prevent injuries, regain functional movement and return to sports with an emphasis on evidence-based approaches.

Mr. Bartz has previously worked in the National Football League as the team physical therapist for the Kansas City Chiefs and as an athletic trainer for the San Diego Chargers. He has also worked at the collegiate level with a variety of division I sports teams before joining UC San Diego Health.

Mr. Bartz received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from San Diego State University. He is Graston Certified and Functional Movement Systems certified.
