About Rachel O'Neal, MA, CCC-SLP
Rachel O'Neal, MA, is a certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) who is passionate about providing care for people with communication and swallowing disorders.
She has experience helping people with conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, head and neck cancer, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson's disease and various other neurodegenerative disorders.
Ms. O'Neal's primary focus is developing individualized treatments for each person based off of evidence-based practices.
She has extensive training in expiratory muscle strength training under the direction of Dr. Emily Plowman, a leading researcher in swallowing disorders within the ALS population.
